Atalanta has confirmed the signing of Daniel Maldini from Monza in a deal worth circa €13m.
The 23-year-old midfielder put pen to paper on a contract that runs until June 2029.

Maldini’s transfer fee includes a fixed payment of €10m, with an additional €3m in performance-related bonuses. Notably, half of the transfer fee will go to Maldini’s former club, Milan, as part of the sell-on clause agreed upon when he was sold to Monza for €5m.

The former Inter Milan striker believes the Nerazzurris will win the league ahead of Ademola Lookman’s Atlanta.
Maldini has already gained international recognition, earning two senior caps for Italy in October 2024.
He has also accumulated an impressive record in Serie A, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists in 71 appearances.
