Olympic champion Noah Lyles has joined the growing list of Olympic athletes with similar experiences as Gabby Thomas on stalkers.
Following Gabby Thomas‘ recent cry for help about being stalked at American airports, Noah Lyles is the latest athlete to join in re-echoing the situation, after revealing he has had his fair share of stalkers.
Thomas expressed concerns in a video on her TikTok page, pleading for advice on being stalked and harassed by a group of men at airports in America.

She described how “three to six” middle-aged men appeared to be waiting for her in various US airports including Chicago and Miami, even sometimes showing up at her departure gate.
“When I’m by myself, it’s really scary. They got really hostile with my boyfriend yesterday. It’s not even airline-specific but I don’t know how they’re getting my flight information. And it’s really starting to freak me out.

Jamaican sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce launched her hair care brand with rollout of her historic winning hairstyles.
“And honestly, I don’t know who to go to about this. Do I go to the police? Do I go to airport security?” revealed the Paris Olympics triple gold medallist.
After raising the alarm, it led other Paris Olympians such as Coco Gauff also coming out to state she has had similar experiences, of which Lyles has now joined the growing list of athletes.
“I don’t think I have been outside where somebody hasn’t recognized me in some capacity and that’s good and bad same time. You know I’ve had my fair share of stalkers recently,” said Lyles during the press conference of the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix.

The Olympic 100m champion also revealed the weight that comes with the fame of being the world’s fastest man, which also comes with its benefits.
“I finally win it in the Olympics, okay now I’m the world’s fastest man. And it’s a crazy title you know, it holds a lot of weight. Especially walking around and people will easily just notice me on the street a lot more than not,” said Lyles.

Olympic and world champion Noah Lyles participated in a stopwatch count to tie his personal best, but instead resulted in a new world record.
“But at the same time, yeah, it’s definitely been fun and exciting but on the business side, you know, a lot of doors have been opening, and I’m open to share a lot of big news soon.”
Thomas and Lyles are two of USA’s biggest athletics stars known not just for their speed prowess, but their exceptional work rate off-track activities aimed at growing the sport to greater heights.
