Jilin Provincial Government 2025 Scholarship at Changchun University

The Jilin Provincial Government Scholarship  – Changchun University of Science and Technology (CUST) Program 2025 is now open for applications.

This prestigious, fully funded scholarship, sponsored by the Jilin Provincial Government, aims to attract outstanding international students for master’s programs in Jilin Province, China.

Scholarship Benefits

Selected students for the Jilin Provincial Government Scholarship 2025 at CUST will receive the following benefits:

• Full tuition waiver, covering registration fees, laboratory experiments, internship costs, and basic textbooks.
• Free on-campus dormitory accommodation.
• Monthly living allowance of CNY 1,700.
• Outpatient medical service and comprehensive medical insurance.

Available Programs

This scholarship is exclusively for master’s degree program  taught in English, with a duration of two years. The available fields include:

1. Mechanical Engineering
2. Computer & Application Technology
3. Information and Communication Engineering
4. Master of Business Administration (MBA)

A total of six (06) fully funded positions are available under this program.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a citizen of a country other than China and in good health.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years of age.
• Have a GPA over 3.4/4 or 4.2/5, or an average score above 80/100 from undergraduate studies.
• Non-native English speakers must provide an IELTS or TOEFL certificate.

Application Process

Applicants must complete the following steps:

1. Register and log in to the online application system: http://cust.apply.cucas.cn/
2. Fill out and submit the required details.
3. Select ‘Jilin Provincial Government Scholarship’ under the study type option here https://sie.cust.edu.cn/scholarship_pages/61695.htm.
4. CUST will review applications and conduct interviews for shortlisted candidates.
5. Successful applicants will receive an official admission offer.

Required Documents (Two Copies Each)

• Photocopy of a valid passport (including name, passport number, expiration date, and photo).
• Passport-sized photo.
• Notarized highest diploma (or proof of current student status for graduates-to-be).
• Academic transcripts with notarized translations (if not in English or Chinese).
• Study plan or research proposal (at least 500 words in English or Chinese).
• Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
• Proof of English proficiency (IELTS or TOEFL for non-native English speakers).
• Copy of visa (for students currently in China).
• Physical examination form (issued within six months).
• No criminal record certificate (issued within six months).
• Acceptance letter from a supervisor (if available).
• Recent full-body photo (taken within three months) and a 10-second full-body video.
• Proof of artistic or sports talents (if applicable, including performance videos).
