Nigerian-born UFC star Kennedy Nzechukwu celebrates his wedding anniversary before returning to the Octagon.

In the preliminary rounds of UFC 308, Nigeria’s Kennedy Nzechukwu made his heavyweight debut, knocking out Chris Barnett in the 1st round.

The 32-year-old was born in Imo State, Nigeria before moving to the United States of America (USA).

Kennedy Nzechukwu celebrates wedding anniversary

Nzechukwu took to his official Instagram account to reveal that he had his birthday celebration.

The day also was when he decided to get married last year.

He celebrated the special occasions with videos and photos from the event.

Along with the post was a message that said, “The best present I could ask for was getting married on my birthday, surrounded by my beloved friends and family.

“I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us in celebration.

“Thank you, God, for another beautiful year and for our wedding anniversary!

“It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a year!!! ✨♥️.”

This comes after Nzechukwu defeated Lukasz Brzeski via first-round TKO in his heavyweight transition at UFC 310 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The Nigerian who defeated Chris Barnett via first-round TKO this past October, has now won two straight heavyweight bouts and is set to return to the octagon in 2025.
