Boniface had a remarkable season with Union St. Gilloise, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists. 

His performances were instrumental in the club’s success, including their run to the Europa League quarterfinals and a close finish in the Belgian Pro League, where they ultimately came second behind Genk on goal difference.

After his successful stint in Belgium, Boniface joined Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2023. 

His move to the Bundesliga marked a significant step in his career, as he became a key player for Leverkusen.
