Ruben Dias has reportedly taken a huge step in his rumoured relationship with the beautiful Love Island host.

Maya Jama has set tongues wagging once again, hinting that she’s brushing up on her Portuguese skills, and fans are convinced Manchester City hunk Ruben Dias is playing the perfect teacher.

The 30-year-old Love Island host, had all eyes on her as she lit up the red carpet at the 2025 BRIT Awards in London, draped in a show-stopping black gown.

But it wasn’t just Maya’s outfit that got everyone talking. 

The Bristol-born presenter sent the rumour mill into overdrive after posting a cheeky Instagram story from the afterparty, where she could be heard speaking Portuguese in the background.

 According to reports from Daily Mail and Game Set & Match, the voice replying to Jama is none other than Dias himself.

Teasing fans further, Maya cheekily captioned the clip: ‘Lessons have started’ — leaving followers to connect the dots between the beauty and the Portuguese football star.

Maya and Dias have been at the centre of romance whispers ever since they were spotted ringing in the New Year together in Ibiza.

 Sources claim the duo have been secretly dating for months, with their first sparks flying at the European Music Awards.

“They get on really well and obviously make a gorgeous couple, but it’s early days,” an insider spilled to The Sun. 

“When Ruben got injured and had to miss the congested new year fixtures, he jumped at the chance to see in 2025 with Maya in Spain.”

The rumoured lovebirds have been dropping subtle hints ever since.

 Just days after Valentine’s Day, Jama showed off a lavish bouquet of roses on her Instagram stories, shortly after jetting back from South Africa following the Love Island All Stars finale. 

Eagle-eyed fans also clocked both Maya and Ruben rocking matching Cartier ‘LOVE’ bracelets — worth a cool £5,050 each.

Dias, 27, made a swift dash from Man City’s FA Cup win over Plymouth to reunite with Maya after the BRITs, fuelling speculation that their blossoming romance is heating up.

While the pair remain tight-lipped about their relationship, their secret language lessons may be all the confirmation fans need.
