Botswana’s sprint star Letsile Tebogo signed a lucrative endorsement deal with a top diamond company that has Lupita Nyong’o as one of their ambassadors.
Olympic champion Letsile Tebogo has joined star actress Lupita Nyong’o as a global ambassador for top diamond company De Beers Group.
The Motswana speed king announced the lucrative endorsement deal on his social media platforms with the caption:
“I am deeply honored to share that I am now a global ambassador for @debeersgroup. My success story is connected with my nation’s diamond heritage and I am excited to embark on this new adventure.”
Tebogo had a breakout 2024 season that saw him become Botswana and Africa’s Olympic gold medallist in Paris, after blazing to the 200m title in a new African Record of 19.46s.
For his accomplishments, he was named the World Athletics Male Athlete of the Year and is now highly ranked as one of the world’s best sprinters.
