Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman has been picked as a role model and mentor by Ukrainian teenage sensation Oleksandr Dragan.
Dragan and Lookman joined Atalanta during the summer of 2022 but had different paths in their football careers.
Lookman joined Gian Piero Gasperini’s first team immediately, while the Ukrainian player joined Atalanta’s youth setup.

Dragan speaks highly of Lookman
Dragan, who recently joined Atalanta’s senior team, disclosed that the Nigerian international has mentored him as he transitions into professional football.

Speaking to Dynamo.kiev.ua, Dragan said, “There are three people — De Ketelaere, Lookman, and Retegui. That’s top level!”
When asked who had mentored him, Dragan specifically mentioned Lookman, characterizing him as a supportive and positive influence in the dressing room.
He said, “Lookman. As a person, he is very pleasant, friendly, cheerful, always with a smile on his face. Ademola radiates kindness.
