In a recent conversation with Iker Casillas, Piqué reaffirmed his interest in leading the Blaugrana club, saying,
“If the club needs me, I will be Barcelona’s president.” However, he also acknowledged the significant sacrifices that come with the position.
“Being Barça’s president involves many sacrifices, especially for someone like me, who doesn’t need it,” Piqué explained.

“For others, the position opens many doors, but for me, it would be a much bigger sacrifice.”
Despite the potential drawbacks, Piqué feels a sense of responsibility toward the club, saying,

While he’s uncertain about when or if he’ll run for president, Piqué keeps the door open, stating,
