The Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has attributed many of the nation’s challenges to a growing lack of unity, stressing that division among the people threatens future generations.

Speaking during an Iftar gathering with District Heads of the Zazzau Emirate, the Emir expressed deep concern over the increasing disconnection within society.

He urged people to reconcile their differences and embrace forgiveness for the collective good.

“We must come together and foster unity. If we have wronged anyone, we should seek forgiveness. Holding onto grievances will only deepen our divisions,” he said.

He emphasized that unity is essential for the progress and stability of society, warning that persistent disunity would create lasting difficulties for the next generation.

“Without unity, we cannot secure a better future for our people. If we continue on this path of division, we risk leaving behind a legacy of discord,” he cautioned.

The Emir also lamented the fading bonds among old friends and associates, noting that many no longer maintain relationships or show concern for one another.

“This is not just a problem in Zaria or Kaduna State—it affects the entire Northern region. The challenges we face today are widespread, and they require a collective effort to resolve,” he added.

The Iftar gathering brought together all District Heads of the Emirate and the Secretary to the State Government, who represented the Governor.
