1.) Quantity Surveyor
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for projects.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Prepare tender documents and contracts based on project requirements.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and construction regulations.
- Monitor and track project expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost analysis.
- Conduct valuation of work done and prepare interim and final payments.
- Identify and assess potential project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Optimize costs without compromising on project quality and performance.
- Conduct site visits to verify work progress and adherence to contractual terms.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers for effective cost planning.
- Handle contract variations, claims, and dispute resolutions.
- Negotiate and settle contractual disagreements with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts .

2.) Internal Control Officer

Job Responsibilities
- Monitor adherence to construction contracts, project budgets, and procurement procedures.
- Develop and implement internal control frameworks specific to construction operations.
- Establish controls over procurement, subcontractor payments, and inventory management.
- Ensure proper documentation and approval processes for payments and project expenditures.
- Identify gaps in internal control processes and recommend corrective measures.
- Ensure that inventory management practices align with company policies to prevent material wastage or fraud.
- Prepare internal audit reports with findings and recommendations for management.
- Monitor and investigate irregular financial activities or policy violations.
- Develop fraud detection controls for procurement, subcontractor agreements, and expense claims.
- Work closely with management to address and resolve any suspected fraud cases.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and labor laws.
- Collaborate with project managers to verify compliance with contract terms and local construction regulations.
- Conduct training sessions on internal control policies for employees.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on best practices in internal controls within the construction industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Risk Management.
- 3 – 5 years of experience.

3.) Document Control Officer

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain document control procedures and policies.
- Ensure all company/project documents are properly classified, stored, and archived.
- Manage both digital and physical document filing systems.
- Track revisions, approvals, and changes to documents.
- Ensure only the latest versions of documents are in use.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Control access to documents and maintain confidentiality.
- Distribute documents to the necessary stakeholders on time.
- Retrieve documents upon request.
- Maintain records of contracts, drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure project documents meet quality control and legal standards.
- Support teams in retrieving and updating construction or real estate project files.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with document management policies.
- Generate reports on document status, updates, and compliance.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 3-6 years experience.
