The six-time African women’s player of the year has joined the list of inked-up football stars in the game.

Super Falcons of Nigeria star Asisat Oshoala has once again stolen the spotlight—this time, not just for her football skills but for her latest personal statement. 

The 30-year-old former Barcelona star, who is gearing up for her second season with Bay FC, was front and centre as the club unveiled their new kits.

 Oshoala, a six-time CAF Women’s Player of the Year, confidently modelled the fresh designs, embodying the club’s ambition and style.

While her fans were already buzzing about her presence in the campaign, Oshoala took things a step further by revealing a surprising new addition—her first-ever tattoo. 

The Super Falcons star took to Snapchat to share a close-up of her inked arm, where “Bay F.C” was boldly written.

 She captioned the snap with: “First tattoooooo, New tats” leaving fans in awe.

Oshoala braces up for new season with Bay F.C

Oshoala’s debut season with Bay FC saw her net eight goals and register one assist, playing a crucial role in their seventh-place finish. 

With a fresh look, a fresh tattoo, and a new season ahead, all eyes will be on Oshoala as she continues to make waves in the NWSL.

However, since the start of 2025, ‘Agba Baller’ has witnessed a dramatic decline in her followers on Instagram.

Having previously surpassed Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur to become the most followed female African athlete on Meta’s platform, Oshaola lost over 200,000 followers in the last few months to bring her tally back to 1.2 million followers, having previously picked at 1.4 million.
