Premier League: Manchester United vs Crystal Palace prediction, head-to-head, team news, possible line-ups, and betting tips

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace

12th meets 13th in the Premier League as Manchester United welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford on Sunday. Here’s a look at predictions, team news, betting tips, and possible line-ups ahead of the clash.

Manchester United will be aiming to build on a solid week, having secured back-to-back wins in the league and Europe.

A 1-0 victory over Fulham last weekend was followed up with a 2-0 triumph against FCSB in the Europa League on Thursday night.

That makes it three wins on the bounce for United, though they remain 12th in the Premier League standings.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace saw their impressive unbeaten run come to an end with a 2-1 home defeat to Brentford.

However, with United’s inconsistency this season, the Eagles will feel they have a real chance of taking something from this trip to Old Trafford.

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace Head to Head

Crystal Palace have won five of the last 11 Premier League meetings between the sides (D3, L3), including three of their previous five visits to Old Trafford.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are at risk of failing to score in four consecutive league games against the same opponent for the first time since their run against Arsenal between 1981 and 1983.

The hosts are likely to remain without Jonny Evans, Mason Mount, and Luke Shaw, though Shaw has returned to group training and is edging closer to a comeback.

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad will undergo knee surgery and are ruled out for the rest of the season.

Eberechi Eze is also unavailable due to a lingering foot injury, but Adam Wharton and Matheus Franca are expected to be back in the matchday squad after their respective lay-offs.
