We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Opebi – Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze loan applications, approvals, and disbursements to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify patterns in improperly handled or disbursed loans and develop data-driven solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor key quality metrics and generate reports on loan processing errors, delays, or inconsistencies.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks on loan transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Work closely with the Risk and Compliance teams to recommend process enhancements that improve loan quality.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all quality assurance assessments.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to assess loan performance trends and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Provide detailed reports on loan discrepancies and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective measures.
  • Develop dashboards and tracking systems to monitor the effectiveness of process improvements.
  • Work closely with loan officers, underwriting teams, and customer service teams to resolve issues in loan processing.
  • Conduct training sessions for relevant staff on best practices to enhance loan handling and minimize errors.
  • Provide recommendations to management on improving loan quality and overall customer experience.

Job Role

  • The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for analyzing loan processes, identifying discrepancies, and using data-driven insights to improve loan disbursement accuracy and efficiency.
  • This role ensures that all loans are properly handled, in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, and that corrective actions are implemented for improperly processed loans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Loan Operations, or a related field within a financial institution.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data analytics tools and Excel for reporting.
  • Knowledge of loan policies, credit risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:
