Napoli is shopping for another striker after Romelu Lukaku has failed to fill the void left by Victor Osimhen.
Napoli’s manager Antonio Conte has returned to the transfer market in search of a good replacement for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen after Romelu Lukaku failed to hit the ground running.
2023 African Player of the Year Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli during the summer transfer window, with the Partenopei signing Lukaku as his replacement.

However, Lukaku has been guilty of missing several chances. The Belgian has only managed eight goals and seven assists in 21 games for the three-time Serie A winners.
Conte in search of new striker
Italian manager Conte has reportedly identified Darwin Nunez as the ideal solution to Napoli goalscoring challenges.
Liverpool, however, are not expected to let Nunez leave for a low fee, with over three years remaining on his contract. There is also reported interest from the Saudi Pro League, including a rejected £70 million bid from Al-Hilal earlier this month.
The final decision on Nunez’s future remains to be seen, but Napoli’s entry into the race adds another dimension to the ongoing transfer speculation.
Nunez’s future at Liverpool is uncertain after a frustrating season that has seen him lose his place in Arne Slot’s starting lineup.
The Uruguayan was signed by Jurgen Klopp in the summer of 2022 from Benfica for a club-record £85 million, but he has struggled to replicate his impressive Portuguese goalscoring form at Anfield.
