Rumours have surfaced regarding a ruthless message sent to Marcus Rashford by Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim, reinforcing the forward’s uncertain future at Old Trafford.
The England international has joined Aston Villa on loan for the rest of the season, with the club holding a £40 million option to make the move permanent in the summer.
Tensions between Rashford and Amorim escalated in December after the forward was left out of the Manchester Derby. Following that omission, Rashford told journalist Henry Winter that he felt “ready for a new challenge.”
In a shocking revelation, Amorim is believed to have told his staff that he would rather name 63-year-old goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital on his bench than Rashford at this moment.

No Way Back for Rashford?
Reports from British media outlet Talksports suggest Amorim has informed Rashford that he will not play for Manchester United again as long as he remains in charge. The blunt message reportedly came as the forward’s loan move to Villa was nearing completion.
However, these claims contradict Amorim’s public stance ahead of United’s clash with Crystal Palace. When asked about Rashford’s situation, he said:
“If he changes, we are more than welcome [to include him] – and we need it. But at this moment, we have to set some standards. We are waiting for Rashford, if he wants it really bad.”
Rashford has not featured for United since their Europa League victory over Viktoria Plzen nearly two months ago.
