Premier League leaders Liverpool are reportedly coming to terms with the potential departure of superstar forward Mohamed Salah, whose contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

Salah is in the form of his life, contributing 30 goals and 22 assists across all competitions, but Liverpool are yet to present the Egyptian with a satisfactory contract offer.

According to Transfer News Live, Salah, who has 241 goals and 109 assists in 387 appearances for the Reds could be on the move this summer and the priority replacement is Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

His contract is up in the summer of 2026, and there is no intention to renew, which makes it imperative that Atalanta make a sale this summer to avoid losing him for nothing.

Lookman has been brilliant for Atalanta since he joined the club three years ago, contributing 49 goals and 22 assists in 107 appearances.

There will be other clubs interested when the transfer window re-opens, with the likes of Juventus, Manchester United, and Chelsea credited with an interest in the former Fulham forward.
