Godwin made the startling admission that he had gotten high offers for the jersey he exchanged for Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to the Nigerian striker, he has received a ton of letters from prospective purchasers who are prepared to spend a lot of money in order to have the prestigious jersey.

The offers have varied from $20,000 to an incredible $50,000, or almost 77 million in Nigerian naira, according to Godwin.

The Super Eagles forward, however, has stuck to his choice to turn down every offer and keep the shirt as precious memorabilia of his meeting with the football hero.
The jersey swap between Godwin and Ronaldo happened back in November 2023 where Ronaldo’s Al Nassr comfortably won 3-0 against Alakhdoud in a Saudi Arabia Professional Football League clash.
This January, Ronaldo and Godwin were both on the scoresheet as Al Nassr defeated Al Alakhdoud 3-1 in a league fixture.
