Ikorodu City will host Kano Pillars at the Mobolaji Jhonson Arena on Wednesday.
The Oga Boys honoured him with a customised jersey before kickoff, showing their appreciation for his presence.
The match began with Plateau United taking a surprising lead in the 38th minute, leaving Ikorodu City fans anxious.

However, the tide turned dramatically in the second half. In the 74th minute, Olatunji Abdulmalik levelled the score with a well-placed finish after receiving a pass from Shola Adelani, a Nigeria U20 invitee.
Just six minutes later, Ikorodu City struck again, with Tosin slamming home a stunning goal that put them ahead 2-1.
