Tara Davis-Woodhall and her husband Hunter were guests at a talk show, but the most unexpected reaction happened when they were surprised with a box of pizza.

Olympic long jump champion Tara Davis-Woodhall had the most peculiar reaction when she was surprised with a box of pizza on a talk show.

The Woodhalls – Tara and her husband Hunter with charismatic personalities were on a talk show when the host suddenly presented them with a box of pizza – perhaps her best food.

“Let me show you how we roll here on Comcast,” said the host, calling out for the pizza to be brought in for Tara and Hunter.

On sighting the box, the US long jump star surprised, immediately asked: “Am I like on a talk show?” Then screamed, “Oh my gosh, this is the best thing ever.” Still amazed at her getting a pizza, she exclaimed again: “That was back there the whole time? Wow!” and then clapped her hands in excitement “pizza,pizza,” as her husband watched on surprised at his wife’s excitement.

The Woodhalls were nicknamed the ‘Golden Couple’ of the Paris Olympics and Paralympics after the lovebirds smashed the media space with their exceptional affection for each other and their performances.

They both won gold medals in their respective events, first Tara soaring to the women’s long jump title during the Olympics, and her husband, a US double amputee sprinter propelled his prosthetic blades to Paralympic gold in the T62 400m.

The Woodhalls, Tara Davis and Hunter responded to constant questions on starting a family.
