Benefits of the Scholarship

The TJUSCET scholarship offers two generous funding options for the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and Technology program (taught in English):

1.) Full Scholarship

  • Tuition Subsidy: 20,000 RMB/year
  • Living Allowance: 1,400 RMB/month (10 months/year)

2.) Partial Scholarship Tuition Subsidy:

  • 20,000 RMB/year

Scholarship Duration: Up to 4 years (subject to annual reviews).

Eligibility Criteria 

Before applying, ensure you meet the following criteria:

  • Nationality: You are a non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport.
  • Education: You hold a high school diploma and are under the age of 25.
    • Note: Applicants under 18 as of September 1, 2025, must provide a guardian certificate from the Tianjin District Notary Office.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • TOEFL: Minimum 80
    • IELTS: Minimum 6.0
    • Native English speakers are exempted.
  • Conduct & Health: You have good physical and mental health, strong moral character, and agree to abide by Chinese laws and TJU regulations.
