Tinubu appoints Danjuma Ismaila as head of Nigerian College of Aviation Technology

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday appointed Dr Danjuma Adamu Ismaila as the Rector and Chief Executive of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, NCAT, Zaria.

This was confirmed in a statement signed by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Technology, Bayo Onanuga.

Ismaila is an expert in air transportation management, transport economic policy, and aviation security.

He studied Physics at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and graduated in 1989.

Ismaila also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Transportation and has attended numerous courses, workshops, and seminars on civil aviation management and transportation.

He is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society in the United Kingdom and the Air Transport Research Society, among others.

Before this appointment, Dr Ismaila was a lecturer at the Federal University of Transportation, Daura.
