The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) is the main funding body for engineering and physical sciences research in the UK.
EPSRC covers a vast range of fields from healthcare technologies to structural engineering, manufacturing to mathematics, advanced materials to chemistry. Benefits of University of Leicester ESPRC Scholarship
The funding is open to UK applicants only and provides:
- 4 Year UK fee waiver
- 4 Year stipend at UKRI rates ( for 2024/5 this will be £19,237 pa. 2025/6 rates to be confirmed)
- RTSG is £8,500 total per project
Requirements for University of Leicester ESPRC Scholarship
- The EPSRC DLA funding is open to UK applicants only.
- Applicants must have (or expect to obtain) at least the equivalent of a UK first or upper second-class degree in a relevant/related subject, or overseas equivalent.
