Former Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has suggested three players he believes could take the Gunners to the next level, as they continue their search for a long-awaited Premier League title. Despite another strong campaign, Arsenal are set to fall short once again, with Liverpool leading the table by a comfortable margin.

Walcott, speaking to DR Sports, believes Arsenal’s biggest priority should be signing a new striker, naming Newcastle’s Alexander Isak as the dream addition. The Swedish forward has been linked with multiple top clubs, including Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester United, but Walcott sees him as the ideal solution to Arsenal’s goal-scoring issues.

In addition to Isak, the ex-England international also recommended Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo as a solid backup option for Bukayo Saka. He emphasized the importance of squad depth and competition, noting that adding pressure in key positions can only improve performances. To strengthen the left flank, Walcott threw in a surprise name—Nottingham Forest’s Callum Hudson-Odoi.

With Arsenal’s title challenge fading following setbacks against West Ham and Nottingham Forest, questions have been raised about their ability to stay competitive until the end of the season. Former Premier League defender Nedum Onuoha warned that if Arsenal’s Champions League campaign also ends in disappointment, it could lead to serious doubts about their future.
