Yangzhou University 2025 International Students Scholarship

For international students seeking financial aid to study in China, Yangzhou University (YZU) is offering its International Students Scholarship 2025 for undergraduate, master’s, and PhD programs.

This scholarship provides tuition and accommodation fee waivers, along with living allowances for graduate students.

Scholarship Categories 

The YZU International Students Scholarship is open to undergraduate, master’s, and PhD applicants across various disciplines. Eligible candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old for undergraduate programs, 18 and 35 for master’s programs, and 18 and 45 for PhD programs as of May 15, 2025. Applicants should not hold any other scholarships of a similar kind in China.

Scholarship Benefits

• Tuition and accommodation fee waiver for all recipients.
• Monthly living allowance for master’s and PhD students.
• Annual review requirement to maintain eligibility.
• Funding Duration: Shall not surpass the standard academic study period. PhD students may receive funding for an additional year.

Application Process

• Undergraduate applicants are automatically considered through self-funded applications; no separate scholarship application is required.
• Master’s and PhD applicants must apply for the scholarship along with their university admission application. Only admitted students will receive the scholarship.

Important Dates

• Application Period: January 1 to May 15, 2025.
• Scholarship Results: Available on YZU’s International Student Service System (https://coe.yzu.edu.cn/en/Scholarships/Yangzhou_University_Scholarship.htm) before August 15, 2025.
