Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), a prestigious institution under China’s Ministry of Education, has opened applications for the Chinese Government Scholarship-University Postgraduate Program 2025-2026.

This initiative aims to support international students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees at BFSU, a university recognized for its global outreach and excellence in education. BFSU Chinese Government Scholarship provides comprehensive financial support to international students selected for postgraduate programs at Beijing Foreign Studies University .

Benefits of the Scholarship 

• This prestigious scholarship covers all tuition fees, ensuring students can focus entirely on their studies. Accommodation is provided free of charge on campus, or students may opt for off-campus housing with a monthly subsidy of RMB 700 for master’s students and RMB 1,000 for doctoral students.
• In addition, the scholarship includes a living allowance of RMB 3,000 per month for master’s students and RMB 3,500 per month for doctoral students, along with complete medical insurance coverage throughout the study period.
• The duration of the scholarship aligns with the program length, spanning four years for doctoral programs and two to three years for master’s programs, depending on the specific field of study. This scholarship provides a golden opportunity for international students to pursue their academic goals in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports.
• Age limits: Under 35 years for master’s applicants, or under 40 years for doctoral applicants.
• Hold relevant degrees with excellent academic records.
• Provide HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) or IELTS (or equivalent) scores as per program requirements.
• Be in good health and have no criminal record.
